Nephtys – Lady of the House

Nephtys (Greek), Neb-Het of Nebet (Ancient Egyptian – ‘lady of the house’) in ancient Egyptian mythology is the godess of the underworld and of birth. She is the daughter of heaven and earth, and the sister of Isis. She is often portrayed together with the latter.
